The semester's over! (Or almost so, anyway...)

With a whole month to myself, I'm going to write, damn it. I'm hoping that by actually informing someone of my intentions, I'll actually stick to it...

We'll see how that goes, right?

Woooo! I've finally overcome my multiple-month-long inability to write anything... even if I only pulled out two poems. I'm excited, anyway. It's been so long since I've written anything at all; it feels amazing to have actually produced something. And what's more is, I have a handful of ideas that I really seriously want to work on... old ideas that I stumbled over again and thought, "Wait, why the hell haven't I written this yet?" They'd both be longer projects with lots of research involved--one taking place in pharaonic Egypt and the other in Mycenaean Greece--and I don't even know whether to write them as prose or verse, so who knows if they'll even get off the ground. That's probably what tripped me up in the first place. *sigh* So we'll see. I'm feeling kinda inspired, so hopefully these ideas will go somewhere.

Also, I have an old start of a draft for that Mycenaean story, which I might upload here if anyone would be interested in reading it and giving me their thoughts...

1. The first character I first fell in love with:
Kenshin, with his tragic, tragic past and his cute little oros. ;_;

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Alucard. After all the time I spent giving Trill a hard time about her vampire obsession, somehow I got sucked into the whole Hellsing thing. Go figure. Vash falls into the same category too.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Inuyasha. I don't see the appeal at all, for him or for the series.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Kibito, from Dragonball Z. Yeah, laugh it up. I feel bad for him; he kinda gets the short end of the stick. And he's smarter than everyone else.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Taikoubou from Houshin Engi... maybe because I never finished the series and haven't seen any of it in a looooong time...

6. The character I would shag anytime:
Pip Bernedotte, from Hellsing, because he has an EYEPATCH. And he's French.

7. The character I'd want to be like:
Sakamoto Ryoma from PMK... coz he's so friggin' cool!! Or Hiko Seijuurou from Rurouni Kenshin.

8. The character I'd slap:
Kamiya Kaoru from RK. She's so whiny... PMK's Ichimura Tetsu needs a good smack across the face too.

9. A pairing that I love:
Hijikata Toshizou and Okita Souji from PMK... okay, so it's not explicitly stated in the anime/manga, but it's so damn obvious.... XD

10. A pairing that I despise:
Kenshin with anyone besides Tomoe or Kaoru. NO.
