Artist's Comments

Don't know if I'm gonna finish this one. :( Started it this afternoon and worked diligently at it, only to realize that not only does it not fit the grand mental image I had, but there are some serious flaws. Feedback would be lovely, and I'd appreciate it very much in case I do fix it/start over.

It's supposed to be Klytaimnestra striding triumphantly out of the Mycenaean palace to face the city's elders after having offed her husband (he was a jerk anyway) and his concubine; and it gave me an excuse to draw the kind of lovely flouncy skirt that shows up in Minoan and Mycenaean art. Go read Aeschylus' Agamemnon; it's good fun. :)

Lovely! Wonderful job rendering the scene, I love the historical accuracy of her skirt.
